我在上海的日子

天气照样是很冻，不喜欢。
在公司的气氛有些。。。不知如何说

终于把翻译搞完
真的不知道接下来会是如何

今天下雪了

哈哈

昨日当了一会儿的翻译员，其实也没什么。
是一个新的体验，可表现应该不什么样。
只能说自己的语言能力不好，还待加强。
书到用时，方恨少！！！

今日，必需翻译一些报告。从英语到华语。
虽有网络的帮助，可还是蛮吃力的。

今天可是我来到上海脑筋动得最多的一天。。

天天在倒数中！！ 哈哈！

在公司重复着同样的工作，而只有很短的一段时间。
无奈中还是无奈！

接下来的12周不知如何完成报告
当然还有下周的中期报告，该如何开始？

有挑战日子会充实，希望能顺利完成中期报告。
说没恐惧的在瞎掰，面对领导，他将给自己打分。
再次面对成绩，虽不再如此执著可还是希望能满意。
祝福大家也祝福自己。

期待再次踏入祖国的土地，回到她的怀抱。
可相信到时会有不舍。

推动力，我需要你。。。

日子过得比如常快，那是因为子涵家人的来访。
希望他们在这里的几天过得愉快，当然也要谢谢他们对我的照顾。
还有不知哪会有这巧的是，他们既然是外公外婆乡村的邻居。
新加坡很小，世界也不大。

到浦东机场，不知心情为何感慨。
是对上海的不舍，还是祖国的期待。

冬天的到来，原本的期待变成了讨厌。
外出须穿好几件衣不说，就连在家也不例外。真是不愉快。

Karen’s parents came over to Shanghai on friday, thus we spend the weekend over at Shaoxing; their hometown in China. Went over to pay a visit to relatives over there at a village as well as pay respects to ancestors. It was my first time to a quite run-down village, get to see how exactly Singapore look like in the early 1910-1950s.

Days at office was rather meaningless as we are doing the same thing over and over again. Nothing New.

The weather is cold from Mon to Wed.
Temperature went up on thursday and Today.

Some stores do not sell ice-cream anymore!

Went to Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Centre. A very fulfilling day as well get to know the past, present and future of Shanghai.

A few outstanding tasks was done and was indeed a satisfying short and sweet day.
We meet NICe People today…..
My new shoes that I bring from Singapore  had a “crocodile mouth” so need to bring it to the cobbler. Initially wanted to be done at a cobbler next to a DVD stall but he was not around thus we ask the DVD staller owner and he told us that the cobbler charges were expensive and told us that there was another one across the next street.
There was a uncle selling torchlight by the street, as we need a total of 8 but he only has 4 with him so he went home to take for us and do all the testing for us. He also tell us the price for key duplication and cobbler so that we would not be conned to high the price. He said that Shanghai people do charge higher for non-locals who are unware of the basic price. Thus, we had to ask around before making any purchase.

Our attire for today was very simple ( homeclothes) as it was just out to the market. Karen was saying that we might meet people from our office as we need to past by there to reach the market. AND INDEED WE saw them. What’s more, those we saw were of management level, all the leaders and CEO. OMG!!! Cannot Imagine that was too coincidental… WHY?? As our attire are not really good and we are holding quite a few things, rather unglam if all the leaders saw us, therefore we walk another way so that we will not meet them. So, we saw them but they did not saw us, what a joke !!!
有些事，不得不说是命中注定
有缘千里来相会，我们与上海的缘分不浅
和中国航油物流公司短暂的缘分要珍惜！当然不可忘了很关照我们的各位领导。

Every Friday we are dock off at 4pm whenever you are done with your tasks, so as having nothing to do left office around 4pm. Decided to make a trip to super brand mall area, where the pearl tower is located.

Meet someone of our client company; we meet before during the suzhou trip. He was kind to tell us where the best loaction to snap a photo of the pearl tower as well as we could walk a distance to get a view of the bund.

Had quite a fulfilling meal at a food area near the mall; my subway cookie, 上海年糕，horfun, 煎饺子 and most importantly Smelly toufu!! 一级棒！！Not to forget the bubble milk tea. It was a belated celebration for 100 days count down back home ( suppose to have it on Wed but as there was a company dinner, we delayed it)

Decided not to go super brand mall as I will not buy anything from there, thus we walk home instead. Google Map estimated about 20 mins but it took us about 1 hour. It was because we took many photos along our way as well as it was after a full meal that we decided to take a slow stroll. The night scene of Shanghai is really nice with a number of skyscappers and pearl tower (东方明珠塔）。

I have to say that I never regretted coming for this attachment ( though there are really not much to be done in office), there are many things that I experience that money cannot buy. A simple stroll back home allow thoughts to flow and EVERYTHING SEEMS LIKE A DREAM. I am going to enjoy every bit of Shanghai regardless it is work or play from now on. No more complaints!! 要知足，惜福。

Another boring day in office with only the updating of the vessels status to be done. If this were to continue till the end of the attachment, i really wonder how to continue with my weekly report. May need to ask leader for more tasks at work. Well; after weeks of working together, they are really nice people. Though we do not really interact; as there are not much common topic for us but whenever we have a question for them, they do try their best to help us. So much so that I want to be back home, I believe I will miss Shanghai when the days home drew nearer.
